Ben joined leading global animal nutrition company Alltech in 2012, focusing on sustainable agriculture programmes. Upon the acquisition of agri-environmental specialists E-CO2, Ben has jointly been responsible for the integration and expansion of Alltech E-CO2. Alltech E-CO2 focuses on the development of on-farm carbon and water footprinting software and assessments to help achieve efficient, profitable and sustainable agricultural practices.

Olga Grant is a plant scientist with a particular interest in the water use and requirements of both crop plants and natural vegetation. She has a PhD from the University of Leeds and has worked in universities and research institutes in the UK, Portugal, and Ireland. She is currently a Research Fellow in the School of Agriculture and Food Science, UCD. Mark Quick has experience in the creation and professional management of start-ups from concept, through business planning, building teams, raising investment capital, securing grant funding, finding early adopters, gaining reference customers, negotiating & closing deals, attracting talent and doing business internationally.
He is extremely focused on good corporate governance and conscious of the role of sustainable business within society.
Andy Green is BM TRADA’s Sustainability Sales Manager and works extensively with clients on sustainability projects. Predominately Andy focuses on the food, home and personal care industries and has been instrumental in supporting the uptake of certified sustainable palm oil.
Speaker Bio:
Mr Robson joined the Telecommunication Software & Systems Group (TSSG) of Waterford Institute of Technology as a Senior Researcher in February of 2007. During this time he co-founded the Knowledge Discovery and Databases group and successfully collaborated with colleagues, both within the TSSG and in other similar organisations across Europe, to win over €1.2m of competitive funding.
