  • Speaker Bio:

    Jury Gualandris is Lecturer in Management at Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin. He completed his undergraduate and master degrees in Management Engineering at Bergamo University (Italy), where he then obtained the PhD in Economics and Management of Technology. During the PhD program, he spent a year as Visiting Scholar at Ivey Business School (Ontario, Canada).

    Jury’s research provides insights into the management of inter-organizational practices and network structures fostering sustainability, resilience and innovation in extended supply chains. He has received a number of research awards including the 2012 PhD Proposal Award from the College of Sustainable Operations of Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), and the 2012 best Paper Award from the International Purchasing and Supply Management Education and Research Association (IPSERA). His research has appeared in leading outlets including Journal of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, The International Journal of Production Research, Production Planning and Control, the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, the International Journal of Logistics Management, among others.

    Jury Serves as reviewer for the above listed journals and is an active member of The Academy of Management (AOM), The European Association of Operations Management (EurOMA), IPSERA, The Associazione Italiana di Ingegneria Gestionale (AiIG), The International Manufacturing Strategy Survey (IMSS), the Global Manufacturing Research Group (GMRG). He actively contributes to the development of the Observatory of Value Creation of the European Institute of Purchasing Management (EIPM).
